SERIGRAFFEUR / WEBSHOP / FIESE FLIESEN

FIESE-FLIESEN is an Art project started in 2017 by Tom Singier. It consists of an ongoing production of 15x15cm silkscreened Tiles, printed with ceramic colors in limited editions of 15 exemplars for each motive.

Tom Singier is a french berliner artist of the post contemporary avant-garde. He overcomes his hyperactivist screenprint printer impulses and his bad taste for black humor by hiding behind an absurdist poop art posture. As many of us, he is drowned by the continuous flow of newsfeed, mèmes and geopolitical pornography, he responds to it by producing his work with a frantic pace. He has recently embarked on a process of preventive archeology with his project FIESE-FLIESEN. These analog mèmes may be seen as fragments of a new arch of Babylon. In his trilingual motives you can find references, tributes and critics to things like the inspirational posters of slobbery deco shops, propaganda posters of the last century to today's squat toilets stickers, as well as historical quotes or a few winks to his peers Duchamp, Keith Haring and John Giorno.
